Newspaper Report on 10K Race

“Two twin boys, who are brothers, just won the County Parks Department 10K foot race for runners. The Jones twins arrived at the finish line simultaneously at the same time. This finish had never happened before and was unprecedented.

Both runners were exhausted and tired at the finish. Yet the joy of winning left them happy. This race is an annual event that happens every year. The crowds who cheer the runners are always immense and huge.”

See GrammarBook.com comments concerning tautologies which are defined as needless repetition of an idea, statement, or word.” This was not a real newspaper report but it could have been. This is just my way of having some fun and spreading smiles across the faces of readers (and writers).
